Walk in Their Shoes
Sunday, September 22nd, 1-3pm
Walk begins at the Legion Park Pavilion
Come support the Lighthouse Pregnancy & Family Resource Center as we spread awareness of our services while also highlighting some of Gunnison Valley’s non-profits and their important presence in our community. The Lighthouse celebrated 10 years of open doors in the Gunnison Valley this July, and it is our privilege to continue to support the women, men, and children of this community through connection, education, counseling, and advocacy.
No one can fully understand what it is to walk in someone else’s shoes, but we can experience the journey as we come alongside them with encouragement and support.
Participants are requested to wear a red t-shirt, and any other red item you prefer!
The route will have a 1 mile & 3 mile option: Walk, bike, rollerblade or skate board!
Both routes will stop by the Lighthouse for participants to grab a helium balloon, play games, win prizes, and more!
Come to the Legion Park Pavilion on Sunday the 22nd at 1pm to enter the walk, meet new people, enjoy a warm ‘after walking taco’, and enter into our raffle!
