Meet Our LFM Staff

Wendy Solheim – Legacy Family Ministries CEO

Wendy holds a Bachelors in Biblical Studies, an intermediate level of Spanish speaking skills, and specializes in client human resources, high level grant fundraising, and donor relations. As the CEO of Legacy Family Ministries, Wendy has the administrative responsibilities for the organization and oversight of all developing ministry divisions and their directors and staff.

Wendy was born in Texas and lived in Oklahoma before settling in Gunnison, Colorado, in 1998. She enjoys hiking, exploring new places, and spending time with her three teen and adult children. 

Prior to taking the helm at LFM, Wendy served as Executive Director at Project Hope of Gunnison Valley, where she provided confidential advocacy to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
